Jon & Kate Plus 8

Have any of you seen this show? It's on the Discovery channel and I'm totally obsessed with it. Jon and Kate, the parents, set out to have 3 children. They couldn't do it on their own so they use modern medicine to help them out a little bit. They started out with their oldest set of twins and a few years later decided they wanted just ONE more baby. Well, God (and fertility drugs) decided that he wanted them to have SIX!

This family is so cute! I can't get enough of them! They make me feel so much better about having my ONE baby. Kate has totally made this family as normal as possible. She has tried to give all of her children space to become their own little person and not made everything about being a twin or sextuplet.

She and her husband are constantly bickering with each other but not a horrible bickering just normal married bickering, does that make sense? Every conversation that is filmed between them makes me laugh because they really are "normal" people with at times, abnormal problems. Jon is the typical Dad and tries to make light of every situation and Kate is a total drama queen but at the same time a great, loving Mom.

Can you imagine trying to teach six three year olds how to use the potty, or getting them to sit still for a family photo? There is never a dull moment in their house and I think mine will be similar in no time at all!
These kids are too cute!! Take time out of your Monday night and watch them on the Discovery channel at 9. I bet you'll enjoy it as much as I do.

If they can do it with 8 I can certainly do it with one!
